The most beautiful hummingbirds in the world can be found near an Arazá tree

Hummingbirds create a spectacle of constant movement, those swift birds fly as fast as they are elegant, amidst an agitated search for food which sustains a high metabolism. Watching them is both a challenge and a delight if you love birdwatching; you need to be attentive, they are fast and agile, a second of distraction may ruin the perfect photo.

In the heart of the Amazon live the most beautiful in America, the racket-tailed hummingbird, the marvelous hummingbird, the emerald hummingbird or the pechigris hummingbird are waiting for you across the rains of the dense jungle.

One of the best ways to see them is to travel between September and October. The flowering of the araza occurs in this season, flooding the jungle with a powerful and unmistakable citrus scent that attracts hummingbirds of all kinds.

These small, nutrient-hungry birds stop at the white flowers of the araza tree and give you a chance to see them up close.
